Version 1.29
The following table lists the enhancements that
ChildPlus incorporated into the release of DataEngine version 1.29:
|
Screen |
Description |
|
Community Resources |
ChildPlus enhanced the
Community
Resources screen so that it now takes less time to delete
a community resource in DataEngine. |
|
Immunizations |
ChildPlus updated the link to the
CDC's
Immunization Schedule that is available on this screen. This
link was updated to reflect a recent URL change on the
CDC's
website. |
|
PIR Question C.9 |
ChildPlus modified the way that question C.9 is
calculated in DataEngine. In
prior releases, a child had to have at least one record in the
Health Requirement Cache table in order for the override on this
question to work. This requirement has now been removed. |
|
Preferences |
ChildPlus added an option to the
Preferences
dialog box that allows you to configure user security by region.
Select
Yes
if you want to assign user security by region.
If you select
No,
then ChildPlus will continue assigning user security by agency,
the default method.

|
|
User Setup |
This screen was enhanced so that you can now
quickly make site and classroom assignments based on either
agency or region. Once
you have set up site and classroom security for your users,
ChildPlus will automatically modify their security access if you
ever add new sites, classrooms, or regions.
When you assign user security by agency (the
default method), ChildPlus will automatically grant users access
to each site and classroom that is associated with the agency
you select. In
addition, you also now have the option of assigning user
security by region. If
you enable this option in your system preferences, ChildPlus
will automatically grant users access to each site and classroom
that is associated with the region you select.
For more information on automating user security
in ChildPlus, you can refer to online help.

|
|
Enrollment Utility |
ChildPlus resolved an issue that was occurring
when you terminated a waitlisted
child. Even
if the waitlist
date was prior to the termination date, the child's status was
displaying as Term/Wait
instead of Terminated. |
|
Navigator |
When you access a screen in ChildPlus using the
Navigator,
ChildPlus will display the name of the next or previous
participant in the navigator list if you mouse over the
Previous
or Next
button at the bottom of the screen. |
|
PIR Question C.9 |
ChildPlus modified the way children are counted
for this question and now includes children who did not have any
age requirements due for a program term. |
|
Prepare for Next Program Term Utility |
On the Prepare
for Next Program Utility Setup screen, if you specify
that you only want to display
returning children and then change a participant's status
from returning to
transitioning, ChildPlus
will now make the
Mark
Transitioning
checkbox available.
On the
Prepare for Next
Program Utility Setup screen, if you specify that you
only want to display
transitioning
children and then change a participant's status from
transitioning
to returning, ChildPlus
will now make the
Returning
checkbox available. |
|
User Security Groups |
The report number for the
Preliminary Center Roster
report was updated to 2190. In
previous versions of ChildPlus, the number listed along with
this report was incorrect. |
Reports

Version 1.29
ChildPlus both enhanced and modified existing reports
for the release of 1.29. A
new report, User
Security Report (report number 1120), was also added for this
release.
New Report
ChildPlus added a new report,
User Security Report
(report number 1120), for the release of version 1.29.
This report allows you to view which users
are assigned to each user security group. For
each security group, this report includes the following user
information: Name,
Employee ID,
Position,
Site,
Login.
Since this report
contains sensitive security information, users must be a member of the
Admin
user security group in order to access it initially.
If you want users who are not members of
the Admin
user security group to be able to access it, you will have to manually
configure their security settings to include this report.

ChildPlus resolved an issue that was occurring when you
attempted to filter reports created using
LiveReport based on participant groups.
